In 1994, Mrs MINH created “Amitié Solidarité France Vietnam” with the aim of providing equipment for the hospitals of Hanoï. The association links Vietnamese hospitals to establishments in Dreux (city in France) and the regions of Eure and Loire. The association has been achieving its goals for many years.

The year 2004 marks a turning point for the association's activity. Since 2004, Dr Abo, vice- president, has regularly gone on missions to the Post Office Hospital in Hanoï where he consults and operates. He also opened a medical consultation in an institute for the handicapped "ESTIH" where president Mr Phuong manages the grants offered by the association. (600€ per student to help with studies and meals).

The following year, the association signed an agreement between the hospital in Dreux and the Post Office Hospital in Hanoï. The goal was to implement an exchange of practitioners. Up until 2005, the association’s work mainly took place in the Hanoi region.

The association carries out one mission per year. These "campaigns" normally take place in October-November or March-April and are usually directed by members of the association.

 

In 2019, the president of the association Dr. Alain Huynh met Father Tran Ngoc Tuyen via through the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres. He took him to visit Phuoc Lam, a small village of 2000 inhabitants located one hour from the big tourist city of Danang.
